To achieve the various objectives of an airport, from a technical point of view, the
following facilities are necessary:

An efficient and common communications/
IT infrastructure with different media (fixed cabling, trunk radio, CCTV, Wireless-LAN)

A homogeneous and campus wide comprehensive, end-to-end network with diverse WAN-Links (examples for external networks: Internet, Videotext, SITA, Airlines, etc.)

IT-supported workflow processes to create an extensive logistic system plus communications middleware to connect systems with different platforms

IT-applications and processes which use state-of-the-art technology e. g. client/server architecture

But the main skill is the INTEGRATION of all systems and facilities. There are not many airports in the world, having such a totally integrated system. And there are not many people having the experience to develop such a system in a leading position.
